Haunted with Flaaaaavor!

Pastry preparation for the weekend festivities has begun at Meat á la Mode.

The official flavors for the Halloween Ho-Down are:
-Oxtail with Dill
-Chicken Noodle (For those of you who missed the chance to snag a flu shot, this is the next best thing -- it is a cure-all, and totally painless...)

Heavy MEATal!!!

Are you ready to ROCK?!?

Gearing up for the Halloween Ho-Down means procuring loads of pastry, fresh veggies, big secrets, and bigger meat -- Tasting will commence on Halloween, my carnivorous little minions (veggie options to be provided as well...)! This event has it all, great food, music, craftiness, spookiness, games, dry ice... and it's all for a spectacular cause -- So head on out to NoPo and come taste some mini pies, haunted with FLAVOR!

Remember the á la Mode...!

I want to thank the creators of the Portland Halloween Bazaar for passing out a ton of my little mini meat pies to the masses -- That well-received pie was Pork Chop and Applesauce and would be fantastically accompanied by my Apple-Thyme-Pecan ice cream -- The savory ice cream partner to my Pork Chop Pie is a little taste of home-cooked heaven, even with the introduction of this crisp fall air... Eat up, my little meat pie lovers...
