My exotic meat pies know NO LIMITS! I have created two new versions of this recipe that are available on a limited basis -- One is alligator in a delightful tomato base with a hint of spice that screams [insert pterodactyl screech here] prehistoric perfection! The other is gator in a light fennel cream sauce that is a lovely, delicate compliment to the flaky crust... It's Deliciousaurus.

Luxury sauteed in opulence, wrapped in genius...

I have had a lot of pie baking to do this week -- and more over the weekend... Pie is my life!

I have previously sung the praises of Chop Butchery -- AGAIN this week they impress. The meat orders I placed for the coming days did not arrive to their standards and they are going out of their way to make sure that I receive the very best meaty morsels for Meat á la Mode. They have great connections, very high standards and a supreme product that adds another bit of luxury to my tasty little pies. That's right folks; luxury for your tongue, opulence in your belly... genius in pie form.
